In July 2023, The Northern School of Art hosted the Inaugural Research & Scholarly Activity Conference. 

Responding to the theme of 'Innovation and Impact', Senior Lecturers, members of the Scholarly Activity Working Group and The Northern School of Art's Research Committee showcased their Research Activity and on-programme Scholarly Activity for the 2022 - 2023 academic year, reflecting on how their research and scholarly activity undertaken has directly impacted both curriculum and the wider school community.
