Abstract

 

​Natural Ecologies explores Hartlepool’s wildlife, habitat, and diverse flora and fauna through objects and artefacts from The Museum of Hartlepool's collections. In conversation with the collection, students from The Northern School of Art respond to the beauty, diversity, and heritage of the natural landscape of Hartlepool through a range of interdisciplinary creative practices. Drawing on historical and contemporary works, the exhibition aims to inspire with the local natural landscape, evoking discussion about how we can help preserve its beauty for future generations.
