Andy Ash is an artist, researcher and Associate Professor at University College London in the Institute of Education. He is also the President of NSEAD (National Society for Education in Art and Design). In his Keynote Speech for The Northern Festival of Illustration Artist + Educator Conference, Andy reflects on exploring territories of better practice in teaching art & design particularly in 11-18 year old students in the art & design classrooms and studio.
